Terms of Service

Pauzi is operated by ROCKSOLID MEDIA SRL, Romanian company identification number 38420346, registered office in Bucharest, strada Tincani, no. 4, bl. F7, sc. 1, ap. 12, Romania.

By downloading and using Pauzi, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the app.

Pauzi is a gentle screen timer designed for parents of young children. It helps you end screen time, with a warm voice and a friendly mascot that prepares the child for the transition.

Pauzi is not an MDM system or an invulnerable control tool. It uses Android permissions, overlays, gentle redirects and notifications to support the rule set by the parent, but it does not replace adult supervision or conversation with the child. This approach is intentional.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Pauzi is designed for parents or legal guardians of children aged 3 to 9.

You are responsible for keeping your account password safe and for all activity that takes place under your account.

Pauzi’s basic features are free:

• One child profile
• Configurable session duration, daily quota and cooldown
• One active routine at a time
• Standard voice prompts and transition activities
• Basic report: today and recent sessions, without Premium details

Premium subscription unlocks:

• Multiple children — configure profiles for all children in your family.
• Custom activities — create personalized messages with your child’s name, generated with natural voice (e.g., “Davidut, let’s dance with mommy”).
• In-session messages (nudges) — send your child audio messages during screen time without being next to them.
• Patience Chest — your child collects patience stars, while you set the target and reward. The reward can include an audio preview generated before you approve it.
• Detailed Premium reports — see apps used, the activity suggested at the end, stars earned and how each session ended.
• All 3 daily routines simultaneously (morning + afternoon + evening), with different durations.

Payments are processed by Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly, depending on your choice) until you cancel via Google Play → Settings → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before renewal.

Refunds: refund requests are handled exclusively by Google Play according to their policies. Please request them directly through Google Play, not via email to us.

We may change subscription prices. Price changes apply only to future renewals; we’ll notify you at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Please use Pauzi in a gentle and constructive spirit. Do not attempt to:

• Bypass the payment system or generate Premium activities without an active subscription.
• Use the app in ways harmful to the child (e.g., aggressive messages, intimidation).
• Decompile, modify, or redistribute the application.
• Abuse personalized text features (activities or rewards) for content inappropriate for a child (vulgar language, threatening content, contact details, links, etc.).

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, after prior warning when possible.

We do our best to keep the app available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee perfect uptime. We may temporarily stop the service for maintenance or updates.

Your data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt). We make regular backups, but we recommend you don’t use Pauzi as a sole source of critical data.

Pauzi is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages that might result from using the app.

Pauzi is a support tool for parents, not a substitute for adult supervision. You remain responsible for decisions about your child’s screen time and for general supervision.

Your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you by email and in-app notification at least 30 days in advance for significant changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by following the steps on the data deletion page. Upon deletion, your data and your child’s data are removed from our systems within 30 days (rolling backups expire automatically), except for data we’re legally required to retain (e.g., subscription invoices, kept 10 years per Romanian Fiscal Code).

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute will be resolved within the jurisdiction of Romanian courts. Your consumer rights under Romanian law remain unaffected.
